HOW TO FIND US
First,Second,Under 16s,15s,9s and 10s play at the Memorial Ground off Catherines Close ( BA7 7HJ) . MAP
The Reserves and Colts will play at the Recreation Ground , Green Lane , Queen Camel (BA22 7PR ) MAP
All other teams play at Maggs Lane or Ansford School ( BA7 7JJ). MAP
Directions to the grounds
From Yeovil to Castle Cary Pitches
Leave the A303 after Sparkford and follow the A359 for Frome. Turn left for Castle Cary after passing through Galhampton. Follow the one way system round the town turning left into the high street. Just past the Nat West bank turn left into Ansford Road. Catherines Close for the Donald Pither Memorial Ground is first left.Turn into the ground through the gate on the right for parking.
For Maggs lane and Ansford School continue to the traffic lights at the top of Ansford Road and turn left. Maggs Lane is the next right. The Ground car park is past the School on the right at Caryford Hall.
From Bristol to Castle Cary Pitches
Take the A37 to Shepton Mallet. Follow signs for A371 Castle Cary. On entering Ansford follow the road up the hill. Turn left into Maggs Lane for the Youth pitch and Ansford School, just after the pedestrian crossing. For the memorial ground continue along the road to the traffic lights and turn right into Ansford Road. Catherines Close is first right.
From Yeovil to Queen Camel Pitch
Leave Yeovil on the A 359 , on entering Queen Camel continue on the A 359 over the roundabout and enter the High Street. Turn left into England Lane. Green lane is left near the end of the lane. The ground is in Green Lane.

Castle Cary AFC is the Football Club representing both the town of Castle Cary and the village of Ansford in Somerset at all age groups. The adult club merged with Cary Rangers YFC in 2005 and this year Ansford Rovers FC also merged with the club.Castle Cary is a market town twixt Wincanton and Shepton Mallet and Ansford is a suburb. ( Not really but I couldn't think of any other description as both communities are really close). Indeed of our two pitches in the 'town' one is in Cary the other in Ansford.

The club colours are officially red and black for both adult and youth teams from 2009. Some of the youth teams will be sporting various combinations of Claret and Blue for a while as we gradually change over from the old Cary Youth colours. Away kit is all blue.
The objects of the Club are:
To arrange association football club matches and social events for its members.
To foster the spirit, competitiveness and sportsmanship in playing Association Football, within the town of Castle Cary, the village of Ansford and the surrounding areas.
To provide the appropriate level of facilities for Association Football for its members and the wider community.
To gain and maintain FA Chartered Football Club Status

The Club Crest was designed in 2005 post the Cary Rangers and CCFC merger because no one knew whether we had one or not! The Crest represents the town (or conurbation!) and is based on the famous Castle Cary Roundhouse gaol which has been around since 1779 .The Ed designed it from a photograph he took on a sunny day in Cary , very early in the morning, when there it was not surrounded by parked cars! The badge is round because it represents a football - although you had probably guessed that was why! We believe the club was founded in 1924 but struggled to establish itself until after the second world war - please visit our history page for more information.
