The Horse Pond Inn, nestles at the foot of Castle Cary,
an attractive twelth century country town. The Inn gets
its name from the original town pond opposite the pub
where for centuries pack horses were watered, and which may have once been part of the castle moat.
The pub is centrally located and with 4 en-suite rooms it makes an ideal base for travelling around the West Country - Somerset, Avon, West Devon, Dorset and Wiltshire, either for business or for pleasure. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, TV and en-suite bathroom.
You can also enjoy live music every fortnight at the Horse Pond Inn, plus karaoke every few weeks, and a lovely garden.
