Weekend 24/25 April
Many congratulations to Marion, Tony and the U16s who have won their second cup final of the season against Lyde ( U16 League Cup)
Congratulations to Simon's Under 10s - not only worthy U10 Division 2 Champions but now Champions Cup Finalists after a nail biting penalty shoot out in their semi final against Pen Mill. The final is on Saturday 1st May at Martock against Martock Rovers.
Good news for the Seconds as they are also in the YDFL Premier League Cup Final against Westland Sports or Templecombe - Final is 10th May.
Today the First and Seconds won , Rushie's reserves lost their cup semi final and Trevors Colts went down 2-1 at Walton.
April 5th Easter Monday
After some hard work by Charlie and his gang the pitch was in great condition for today's game against Backwell. We didn't get the rub of the green today and went down 3-1.
April 3rd Easter Saturday
On a rainy horrible day theres only one game in town and Cary's seconds fall foul of the weather and go down at home to Westland Sports.
Easter Monday fixture - First Team at home to Backwell Utd kick off 3 pm. Don't forget your brolly!
March 27th
Another winning day of football from our Saturday teams. The First team win away 1-0 at Mangotsfield Reserves. Simon's seconds win 2-1 at Somerton in the league Cup in a tricky tie in the wind. Trevors colts win emphatically, playing at Cary for the first time this season, 8-0 in the league cup against Bruton.
The Under 10s Youth won their 3rd match in their Champions Cup campaign with a super win against Aller Park. The Under 9s pulled off another deserved win against Perry Street.
The Under 16s will play Lyde in the the final of the Yeovil and Distsrict Youth Shield at Merriott tomorrow, kick off 2 pm. Lets give them our support and everyone who can get down there to cheer the boys on in their first final of the season.

March 20th
Another day of some excellent football from our Saturday teams.
The Under 10s Youth completed their last planned home fixture in their Champions Cup campaign with a super win against a battling Perry Stret side. The Under 9s pulled off another deserved win after going behind against a strong Lyde side.
Both adult sides in action also won ,Trevors Colts winning emphatically at Baltonsborough and Simon's seconds comprehensively beat Pen Mill 3-0 with a superb second half performance.
The Under 16s will play Lyde in the premier youth cup competion of the Yeovil League next Sunday. The final of the Yeovil and Distsrict Youth Shield will take place at Merriott, kic off 2 pm. Lets give them our support on the day.

The Under 10s Youth started off their Champions Cup campaign with a splendid win against a very good Lyde side. The Rangers also got off to a good start in the Plate competition with a win against Perry Street.
Both adult sides in action also won , Rushie's reserves winning 2-1 at Ilchester which is always a tough fixture! Simon's second comprehensively beat Milborne Port 3-0 with a superb second half performsnce.
Keep an eye on the U13s and U16s fixtures - key cup and league games coming up and they would welcome your support.

Under 10s Youth finish their league programme with a win and are crowned Under 10 Division 2 Champions.

February 20th
No first team fixture today . Seconds win 2-1 at Milborne Port, Rushies Reserves win 4-0 at home to AFC Wessex with a first half performance worthy of the first team - superb. Trevor's colts go down at Milborne Port Reserves. A couple of facts about today . It is the first time 2 Cary teams managed by father and son Trevor and Simon play at the same time and place ( adjacent pitches!) at Milborne Port and we also saw dad Tony and son Ryan Pike play together for the first time for Rushies reserves.
Under 10s Youth also win well today.
February 13th
A mixed bag of results today . The 1st team lose 2-4 at Timsbury. Seconds unfortunate to lose to Henstridge AET 2-3 in the Les King Cup. Rushies Reserves win at home to Odcombe. U9s win , U10s Rangers lose to Parcroft and the Under 10s Youth have to settle for a draw against Stoke.
February 6th
Superb performance today from everyone !!!!!!!
Under 9s lose narrowly against Somerton in a terrific football match. Rushies Reserves win convincingly against Stoke Reserves. Simon's seconds get a terrifc 2-2 draw at Keinton and were unlucky not to take all 3 points.
Match of the day was the First Team winning 6-0 at home to Frome Town Reserves with hat tricks from Marcus Price and Rhys Hayhoe. The whole team played really well but a special mention today for 17 year old Lewis Stainer in goal today - a great performance for his well deserved clean sheet.

1st Team win at home against Watchet with a superb performance against the league leaders. The boys came back from 2-0 down to win comfortably in the end 3-2. Goals from Njie(pen), Hayhoe and a superlative free kick from Tony Pike ensuring all 3 points.
U10 Rangers battle well against Wincanton in the rain.

Its a hat trick for our mini soccer teams with 3 great performances against very strong opposition on Saturday morning - and not to be outdone our junior teams repeated teh feat in the afternoon as they all win as well.
All of our Saturday Castle Cary sides in the Yeovil Leagues win for the first time ever !
Bungle's Seconds win 8-1 at home to Henstridge. An emphatic result and some cracking football. Goals from Lawrence, Ferrett,Pulling (2),Miller,and Wilton (2).
Rushies Reserves win at unbeaten Kingsbridge - their performance of the season. Goals from Elsworth and Hart.
Trevor's Colts win 2-1 at home to Baltonsborough Reserves. Goals from D Messenger and Catton.
Under 10s Youth win at Ilminster .Under 10s Rangers have their best result yet at Ilchester Report
The performance of the day was the terrific win by Phil's Under 9s. They played Parcroft who beat us 10 - 0 last time we played. Well done to both sides for a super game of football. Cary Under 9s played really well , particularly in the second half and deserved their win.
December 5th
First team complete the double over Winscombe with an emphatic 4-2 victory. Goals from Price, Hayhoe (2) and Njie (pen). The game had a continental flavour with Signor Simone Zanon an Italian Referee officiating. Reserves and Colts also win. Under 10s have mixed results , a good draw with Aller for the Youth but the Rangers losing to Merriott.
November 28th
First Team lose 1-4 at Shirehampton. Reserves lose 0-1 to Ilchester at home - quite how I don't know - we were pretty awful in front of goal and missed a hat full of chances including a penalty - but playing some super football at the moment.
Both of our Under 10s play well in the cup, the Youth lose narrowly but Rangers win on penalties AET .(Rangers match report) .
Under 9s also play really well and win against Merriott
November 21st

Somerset Senior Cup - A great trip but not the result we wanted as the First Team go down 3 -2 in Guernsey to Vale Recreation FC. A terrific game though and many many thanks to all at Vale Recreation for organising everything and their excellent hospitality.
